1. What is BMI or Body Mass Index?

Body Mass Index is a measurement of a person's weight in relation to their height. It is more of an indicator than a direct parameter that measures your total body weight. To calculate BMI, we use the following mathematical formula:

BMI = weight in kilograms / Height in metre square

A BMI score between 18.5 and 24.9 indicates that the person is within the ideal weight for their height.

2. What are aerobic exercises?

The term "aerobic" refers to your body's ability to use oxygen to meet its energy demands during exercise. Physical activities that make you sweat, have you breathing harder, and get your heart rate higher than normal are aerobic exercises. Brisk walking, jogging, cycling, and running are ideal aerobic exercises that strengthen your heart muscles and lungs. Aerobic exercises improve the efficiency of your cardiovascular system and ensure proper blood flow in your body.

3. Should I work out at home or join a gym?

You may choose either a home workout or the gym at your convenience, as our programme is designed to cater to both choices. If you choose to work out at home, you will require dumbbells, a treadmill or an elliptical, and exercise bands. However, if you can go out of your home for your cardio exercises, you will not require a treadmill or elliptical. If you are looking for optimum results, we recommend a fully-equipped gym.

4. What is the strength-to-weight ratio?

As the name implies, the strength-to-weight ratio is your strength divided by your body weight. Generally, this ratio depends on the gender of the person and the lift exercises they perform. A competitive athlete will have a different ratio than an average person who works out at the gym.
